The article by Jennifer Medina about schools in New York brought back good reports. For two years and running a big majority of parents and teachers are satisfied with New York City schools. There are more teachers saying that schools maintain order and make it a priority to help students achieve. Ninety-four percent of the 347,829 parents who responded to the survey said they were “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with their child’s teacher, and 86 percent said the teachers gave “helpful comments on homework, class work and tests.” More than 800,000 people responded to this year's survey, which cost $2 million to make them.
I took the survey too, here at West Side. I agree with the people..NYC schools are improving every year. I am satisfied with the school's education. Schools can be improved by letting the students pick their schedules.
